The prayer reflects Aquinas’s conviction that genuine knowledge begins with divine illumination. Its petitions—for a keen understanding, a faithful memory, careful expression, and perseverance—speak naturally to students, teachers, scholars, and lifelong learners.
Rendered with illuminated-manuscript details, theological volumes, a quill, armillary sphere, and Gothic architecture, this print creates a contemplative presence in a home library, classroom, homeschool room, office, or study. Display it alone as a daily prayer before beginning your work, or pair it with other pieces inspired by Christian thought, classical education, and the life of the mind.
Chosen for those who seek not only to know more, but to pursue knowledge in the service of truth.
