A thoughtful presentation of George Washington’s Farewell Address, preserving the enduring counsel of America’s first president on liberty, unity, morality, public responsibility, and the character of a free people. Designed for those who value the ideas behind the American founding, this print brings history into the home as something to consider—not simply something to display.
Washington’s 1796 Farewell Address remains one of the defining statements of the early American republic. This illustrated print gathers selected passages around six important themes—Religion and Morality, Unity, Avoiding Factions, Foreign Influence, Public Debt, and the Love of Liberty—alongside a traditional portrait of Washington and imagery inspired by the early United States.

Washington’s words were directed toward a young nation, but the questions behind them remain remarkably enduring: What holds a republic together? What responsibilities accompany liberty? What habits of character allow self-government to endure?
The warm parchment, navy, burgundy, and antique-gold palette gives the piece the character of a preserved historical document while remaining suited to a traditional library, home office, study, classroom, or thoughtfully collected gallery wall. Pair it with other American founding documents, presidential writings, or historical prints to build a collection centered on the ideas that shaped the republic.
A piece of American history designed to be read, considered, and lived with—not simply displayed.
