The winter encampment at Valley Forge has become one of the enduring images of the American Revolution: an army tested by cold, deprivation, uncertainty, and the immense responsibility of the cause it served. This print places prayer within that setting, presenting Washington not simply as a military commander, but as a leader conscious of duties extending beyond victory alone.
