Created for those who appreciate history, archaeology, and the development of human society, this artwork combines scholarly interest with timeless decorative appeal. The warm parchment tones, cuneiform-inspired border, and richly detailed stele create an authentic museum-quality aesthetic that feels both educational and visually striking.

Commissioned by King Hammurabi of Babylon around 1754 BCE, the Code of Hammurabi stands among the earliest surviving collections of written laws. Its famous principle of proportional justice has influenced discussions of law and governance for thousands of years. More than a historical artifact, it reflects humanity's enduring effort to establish order, fairness, and accountability within society.

Whether displayed in a study, library, office, classroom, homeschool room, or living space, this print serves as a meaningful reminder that the questions of justice and law have occupied thoughtful people since the dawn of civilization.

Part of a larger collection of historical and classical learning artwork, this print pairs beautifully with companion pieces featuring the Magna Carta, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Rosetta Stone, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, and other foundational works that shaped human history.

A piece chosen for those who believe that understanding the past enriches the present.

Designed to be lived with—not just displayed.
