A tribute to one of the most recognizable symbols of the American founding, this Betsy Ross flag print reflects the story, craftsmanship, and symbolism associated with the earliest years of the republic. Designed for those who value American history and the stories behind its familiar emblems, the piece brings together the thirteen-star flag, traditional needlework imagery, and the figure whose name has become inseparable from its history.
The weathered red, navy, and parchment palette gives the artwork the feeling of a piece preserved from another era—historical in character rather than simply patriotic in appearance.

The familiar story holds that Philadelphia upholsterer Betsy Ross was approached in 1776 about producing a flag for the emerging United States. While historians continue to debate the details of that tradition, Ross was a real upholsterer and flag maker whose life became closely connected with the visual story of the American Revolution.
The thirteen stars and thirteen stripes represented the original states joined together in a new nation. Here, that symbolism is accompanied by fabric, thread, scissors, and pincushion—small reminders that history is shaped not only through speeches and battles, but through the work of ordinary hands.
Deep colonial red and navy are softened by warm beige, antique gold, and weathered textures, making the piece especially suited to traditional, colonial, Americana, and historically inspired interiors.
Display it independently or pair it with Revolutionary War prints, the Declaration of Independence, George Washington, Patrick Henry, or other founding-era pieces to build a collection that tells a broader story of early America.
A piece that reflects the people, symbols, and stories woven into the American founding.
